We want to say a huge thank you to the team at Lough Erne Resort, in particular Niamh and Joe. Nothing was too much trouble, they really made the process so smooth and stress free, we knew we were in safe hands. The professionalism of the team was evident to our guests. Our guests let us know how well looked after they were and how accommodating the staff were. We were lucky enough to get a beautiful day and having our ceremony outside was so special. We will never ever get over how magical the day was and we are so grateful to the whole team for making it happen.
We had our wedding at the Lough Erne resort. From our very first contact with the hotel, we were just so impressed by how professional, helpful and friendly everyone was.
Niamh, who helped us with all the planning, was just amazing. She was always at the end of the phone or email to answer any questions. Nothing was ever a bother.
Fast forward to our big day, Jamie and I were just blown away by everything. Helen and Joe who coordinated our day were also incredible.
As soon as I met Helen the day before, she instantly settled my nerves. She and Joe ensured everything ran smoothly, so Jamie and I didn’t have to worry.
The location and setting is just so beautiful. All our guests have talked about what a treat it was to stay in such a stunning hotel. All the rooms are beautiful and just so stylish.
The food was first class, everyone was so impressed.
Our lasting memory of our wedding was how every single member of staff made us feel so welcome. We felt like VIPS for our whole stay.
We honestly couldn’t recommend the Lough Erne Hotel more as the most magical wedding venue.

From the moment we arrived at Lough Erne Resort, we knew it was exactly what we were looking for. Lough Erne gave us the destination wedding that we had dreamed of. We celebrated our wedding over 3 nights and from start to finish, we could not praise Lough Erne highly enough. The rehearsal dinner in the Catalina restaurant the night before was absolutely amazing and the service was top notch.
We got married on 30th December and we had the most magical day. We couldn’t have wished for anything more. The hotel, the lodges, the lake and its grounds are just absolutely breath-taking. The staff throughout the venue were outstanding, so helpful and friendly and the food was DELICIOUS which was highly praised by all our guests especially the beef fillet & of course THE BREAD & BUTTER PUDDING! One guest described it as a ‘hug in a bowl’.
A special thanks to Michelle, our wedding coordinator, she was so professional throughout our wedding planning journey and nothing was ever a problem. She really looked after us on the day and during the run up to the wedding. She was a pleasure to deal with and is a credit to Lough Erne. A special thanks to Helen too… for lifting my dress in the rain, for giving me a heated blanket whilst on the golf buggy & for supplying us with hot whiskies after the photos. She is absolutely amazing! Another special mention to Rob, who went above and beyond to ensure our day was so special. The table service was superb and he was on hand at every turn to offer us help throughout the entire night!
There were so many more little things that made our day so special and we cannot thank everyone involved enough! All of our guests enjoyed the wedding day & entire weekend so much. Our photographer & videographer were blown away by the service too.
We honestly had the time of our lives and absolutely loved every minute of our wedding weekend! Lough Erne will forever be our special place. Thank you all so much again, we cannot wait to return!
Helen, Siobhan and Amanda ensured that our day went off without a hitch.
Helen was amazing and made us feel comfortable all day. We didn’t have to worry about a single thing, she had it all sorted. The bar staff and the door men at the hotel were super friendly and went above and beyond to make sure all our guests were taken care of. The food was exceptional, everyone even the very last person to be served received a piping hot dinner.
Lough Erne Resort gave us the destination wedding that we had dreamed of! The venue provided the perfect location for us to celebrate our wedding all weekend long. On the day, the venue looked stunning, the staff couldn't have been more helpful, everything ran like clockwork and we partied late into the night. Both us, and our guests had a weekend to remember - with memories created to last a lifetime. We can't recommend Lough Erne Resort enough!
I honestly have no words to describe how amazing and magical our wedding was at the Lough Erne. From the moment of booking right up the day we left was 5*. Want to say a special thank you to Michelle who helped organise our day and who was able to accommodate everyone's questions that we had throughout the process . Also Helen, this girl made our wedding day and weekend. She was there from the moment we arrived to the moment we left, she made everyone in the wedding feel completely at home and nothing was too much trouble for her. Honestly credit to her. I just want to thank them all for the best weekend of our lives .
I would highly recommend the Lough Erne as a wedding venue, it's top class! My husband and I are forever grateful for their attention to detail and superb service on the day. It ran perfectly smooth, the food was piping hot, the set out of the room was exquisite and our guests felt at ease and relaxed. They had a very reassuring grasp on the day, keeping it in time and ensuring we got the best out of the day. After all the planning leading up to the wedding it was great to sit back and enjoy it, It was literally a perfect day!! Thank you!
When booking Lough Erne as our wedding venue we knew we were in for something special right from the moment we went to view the venue with Joanne at the time who is now general manager. From the very beginning nothing was a problem, anything we wanted or needed was right there or it was going to be gotten for us.A special thank you to Aine our events planner who made sure everything was in place for us and every detail was perfect. On the day we were looked after by a lady Siobhan, she was amazing and so accommodating, right down to fixing my shoes for me and making sure I had a drink in hand to relax and enjoy our day! I often hear people say “things will go wrong but ignore it” so I was waiting for something to go wrong, but not with the team at Lough Erne everything was flawless. My guests were blown away by the outstanding level & quality of food that was presented that day! It was truly the most amazing magical day and this is down to the help of an outstanding team and venue. Thank you again to all at Lough Erne. I’ll definitely be recommending this venue to brides to be in the future!
