Lough Erne Resort in association with Bushmills presents ’The Irish Whiskey Tasting Experience’
Lough Erne Resort have partnered with Bushmills, Ireland’s oldest Whiskey distillery and the only distillery in Ireland to make triple-distilled malt Whiskey, to offer corporate clients and guests an exclusive Irish Whiskey Tasting Experience.
This gives you an exclusive opportunity to taste and learn about the following six Whiskeys; Bushmills Original; a blend of Single Irish Malt Whiskey with Single Grain Irish Whiskeys; Black Bush; complex, assertive, well flavoured, slightly sweet in taste; Bush 10; delicately malty with the traditional absence of Smokey character; Bush 16; the ageing in 3 woods delivers a unique and wonderful complexity; Bush 21; is an extremely rare single Irish Malt Whiskey; plus a Single Malt Scotch Whisky, over an hour session with our certified Irish Whiskey Tasting team.
The Irish Whiskey Tasting begins with a history and overview of Old Bushmills Distillery, followed by the Tasting of the listed Whiskeys from the collection. Serving suggestions, ideal pairings for each Whiskey; an analysis of the difference’s between Irish Whiskey and Scotch Whisky, complete with an overview of the Whiskey market in relation to Bushmills.
The Irish Whiskey Tasting Experience is ideal for corporate groups and guests; minimum numbers are 6 with a maximum number of 12 persons and is priced at £40 per person.
The Blaney Bar at The Resort is home to 101 Irish Whiskeys, the ideal place to put some of the knowledge gained from your Tasting Session into practice!
